What type of medical staff makes the house calls
A licensed medical doctor comes to your home.
Can a House Call Doctor be my primary doctor?
Yes. The house call doctor fulfills all the same functions of your primary care doctor. The only difference is that our doctor comes to you. No more waiting in a crowded doctor’s office again.
Do I need a referral for a medical house call from my office based physician?
No. You can make an appointment directly. Just pick up the phone or make an appointment on-line. House call appointments are available 6 days a week.
How much does a medical house call cost?
The costs for services are similar to those as you would pay in a doctor's office and depending on your location, a travel fee may be applied. If you would like to pay in cash for services, we have payment plans that maybe able to help your budget. If you have Medicare with a supplemental insurance, Medicare, Medicare with Medicaid or a private insurance, there is no out of pocket charge for a house call except your co-pay.
Emergency trips made by the doctor per patient's request without appoinment will be charged a travel fee. All appointment cancellations or reschedule require a 24 hour notice. Same day cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee.
What medical insurance does the house call doctor accept?
I accept Medicare, Medicare with supplemental insurance, Medicare with Medicaid and most private insurances. Sorry, I do not accept HMOs.
Will I always be seen by a the same medical doctor after my first visit?
Absolutely. The goal of my practice is to give my patients that one to one care you won't always find in office visits. My goal is to be your valued family physician.
Can the house call doctor see patients in an assisted and/or non-assisted living home Or nursing home?
Yes. I will visit the patient in assisted/non-assisted living homes or nursing homes.
Does the house call doctors provide emergency medical care?
If you are experiencing a true medical emergency, I encourage you to call 911 as soon as possible. Hospital visits will be overseen by physicians associated with your local hospital and coordinating care with Dr. Sinha. Our house call physician does not round at hospitals.
What if I need refills on my medication?
Every effort will be made to make sure you have your medications. You can schedule your doctor's appointments out several months and also note them to be re-occuring. Its that easy.
